On the heights of the Drôme village, stand the ruins of ancient 12th-century castles. A path first leads you to the castle of the Bishops of Die, of which only a section of wall remains. Further on, the keep of the castle of the Counts of Poitiers still stands.
The history of Bourdeaux is also strongly linked to Protestantism. During the Wars of Religion, the village temple was destroyed, and the Protestants of Dauphiné fled France. If you wish to learn more, a museum dedicated to them is located in Poët-Laval.
