You’ll discover many architectural buildings from the medieval era, including France’s highest keep: the Tower of Crest. First a medieval fortress in the 12th century, then a state prison until the 19th, it’s a must-see. An immersive guided tour, using the latest technologies, will transport you into the history of France like a time machine. Don’t miss the exceptional viewpoint over the surrounding nature from the top of the tower. Finally, rappelling descents from the tower are organized for the most adventurous among you.
Around our campsite in Crest, many outdoor activities also await you. Crest is indeed the starting point for many hikes in the Drôme Valley.
