From mid-July to late August, twice a week, a 50-meter abseiling descent from this tower is offered, supervised by climbing instructors.

At the entrance to the Tower, a 19th-century prison guard equips you with an audio headset for an even more immersive visit. Throughout the year, activities and events are available for families, friends, or solo visitors. In winter, you can attend exhibitions, such as the Playmobil exhibition that took place in December 2022. In summer, the tower is more suitable for outdoor activities. You’ll have the choice between guided tours or theatrical performances. The bravest among you even have the opportunity to do an abseiling descent from the east wall of the Tower (reservation required). From our campsite in Drôme Provençale, it will take you no more than 27 minutes to reach the Tower of Crest. In just 21.6 km, you’ll reach your destination. On your way, don’t hesitate to make a slight detour through Mirmande, one of France’s most beautiful villages.
